Join me and Ray Rickman for a guided tour of College Hill sites in Providence, Rhode Island, that are associated with the famous black diva Sissieretta Jones, who made Providence her home.
The August 10 “Where Sissieretta Walked” tour will begin at 10 a.m. at The Old Brick Schoolhouse, 24 Meeting Street (off Benefit Street). The $10 tour fee will be used to help fund the restoration of one of Sissieretta’s concert gowns.
